Javi had been hounding my cousin Monica to go swimming at her Avila Beach timeshare and she finally had time to go. We packed up the Subie, packed up the ice chests and were on our way! We made a quick (or so I thought it would be quick) pit stop to Ross so I can pick up a bathing suit (I hadn't bought one in years, usually I wear shorts and a tank, but I think I deserve one now :]) Anisa had a meltdown in the store and I was just ready to go ( so much for trying to shop for myself) story of my life lol....As soon as we go to timeshare, kids jumped into the pool. We weren't sure how Noah would take the pool. He has been in it a few times but lately with baths, he hates it. He didn't like at first but after a few minutes he was loving it. As soon as he got comfortable, Armando told me to dunk him and I was scared but did it anyway...hahaa...Noah didn't even care, he actually laughed after the initial "shock"...On our first "Pool Break" we stopped to BBQ some hot dogs and hamburgers and it didn't take long before Noah got into mischief and tried eating a bee, instead he got stung :( it was horrible, his finger swelled up like a balloon as fat as his feet :( he cried for a minute but all was well and he was back to his mischievious ways in no time.
Today was some well spent quality family time in the pool! LOVE days like this!

cute pictures! you're brave to go shopping for a bathing suit on your way to the pool and with kids! hahaha It took me a few trips to Marshalls, Ross, Target, and Kohls to finally find "the one" lol
ReplyDeleteLOL the plan wasfor me to go by myself and leave armando in the truck with kids...but did thy want to stay...NOOOOOO :( poop on me lol...so i settled for a bathing suit...still have yet to find "the one" but i did see a cute strapless one at target....lol (i will have to go WITHOUT kids this time)
