Car Cleaning and turtles!

This morning I went outside just to get the paper and get some bottles that were in the car to wash. I decided that it was just time to clean out the car...it was full of toys, crumbs, clothes, blankets etc. I opened up the garage and let the kids and Whiskey loose...actually just Anisa. I put Noah in the back of the car because even though we just cleaned the garage I didnt want him crawling everywhere with his new pj's..(he is in everything). After the trunk was clean and vaccuumed, Anisa decided to join noah in the back. I threw all the "car" toys back there so they can play while I cleaned the front of the car. Thankfully its now cleaned and organized...we'll see how long it will last. hopefully through the weekend at least :)

After car was clean, we headed to town for some errands and our weekely Costco trip and as always, Anisa wants to sample everything. Sometime I give Noah the sample but there of course are some things that Im really not sure if he can have. Anisa had pineapple and poor Noah just kept looking at her hopeing she would share, but I just thought it was too acidic for him., Instead I allowed him to have a spaghetti sample.

When we got home, Anisa and Noah dumped out their living room tub of toys and she was pretending to be a turtle. We had seen turtles the day before at her dentist office and she really liked them. When papi came home and as I finished makeing dinner, he took them outside to play. A while back we had put Noah on Anisa's little quad and he was super wobbly on it. Now he can actually hold himself up. Guess its time to get him his own!!!!

New Dentist visit and "Stickered Noah"

We had to get up and ready early this morning. Anisa had a dentist appointment with a new dentist in San Luis Obispo. Although she was not looking forward to this appointment, she did very well. The office had an aquarium in the middle of the office with tons of fish and Noah loved looking at all the fish. The had a coloring section and a video game section. I think Anisa felt like a big kid playing a coloring video game and a memory game. When we were done the allowed her to choose a prize from the prize box and took her picture to put on the wall. both Noah and Anisa got new tooth brushes and stickers. I must say even though she has  a regular dentist, this office was fantastic...we were referred to them because they specialize in pediatrics...I just may keep them and I highly reccomend them!!!!

I took the kids to the park when were all done with the dentist visit, which actually just happend to be down the street (we could have walked, but I dont know my way, now I know for next time). My battery on my phone died and I didnt have my camera to take pictures but the kids LOVED Mitchell Park in SLO. Noah can swing in the swing all day long.

On our way back home, I stopped at McDonald's to get Anisa a Happy Meal and we headed home!

Before Papi got home, I began dinner while the kids were playing in the room. When its too quiet, I get worried, so i took a break to check on them and found Noah covered in stickers. I think Anisa really enjoys have a real "live" doll....LOL

I sat in the hallway playing with Noah. He kept throwing a little ball at me, and I would throw it back. Armando came home to find the kids locked up behind the gate (I didnt do it, they closed their own gate) and me in the hallway...

Monica's Birthday and MO/TAV

Today was my cousin Monica's Birthday. We started off at church then tagged along with her parents (my aunt and uncle) to Mother's Tavern in SLO. We had never been there and keep telling my cousin that its not kid friendly (because its a bar/restaurant). We went through "bubble gum" alley (hadnt been through there in yeeeeeears and I dont think Armando has ever been through there...its smelled pretty gross...we pretty much ran through it and stopped just enough to take a picture...there was an older couple who stopped to look at the bubble gum and the lady was touching it....She obviously did not know that they were actually chewed pieces of bubble gum from real people...gross...

Well my cousin swears that Mother's tavern is one of the best burger places around...well  I love burgers and I have to say that I have definitely had better....but to each its own. :) Although the fries were delicious...mmmm Garlic fries remind me of SF Giants Baseball Games!!!!

But Im glad we went and yes it was kid friendly. Burgers were big and salads were huge...After we ate, we said our goodbyes and hubby, kids and I walked around  and did some shopping...I love Downtown SLO but it was so cold and windy, kids fell asleep right away so we werent there very long....

Happy Relaxing Saturday!

We had no plans for the day so we all basically stayed in our PJ's all morning and afternoon. Armando wanted to wash my truck, but I told him not too, cause Austin was supposed to clean my car in&out for making his Easter Cake for his school auction. Instead Armando washed his car. This was the first time we let Noah crawl everywhere. Usually its just around the grass or from front door to grass. Boy, was he EVERYWHERE. When Armando started scrubbing the car, there was Noah copying him, until he discovered a water puddle...Why O Why did I let him just dive in there?! Maybe because he was already dirty and he is just learning to explore. As long as were were at arms reach, it wasnt a big deal where he was.

Anisa went inside to get her kitchen toys and began making us lunch. MMM tree bark! lol

After kids napped, Armando and I finished cleaning and organized the garage (FINALLY) then we got ready to go the Avila Beach to meet up with my cousins at the timeshare. She was BBQ'ing and although we really didnt want to go anywhere, they insisted on us going...

We got Anisa ready to go into the pool just in case and she was so excited. It was freezing and she was shivering, but because she saw the kids in the pool, she wanted to too.

When they finally got out and we ate dinner, we headed upstairs to get the kids in the bath.

Noah didnt want to leave. He was having too much fun pushing the patio furniture around, but I was terrified that he was going to push it straight into the pool and I was going to be too slow.

Anisa decided that she wanted to stay the night with Monica so she unpacked all of her clothes into the dressers...As soon as we left and were almost down to the lobby, Monica called me and told me that Anisa changed her mind...we were so close to escaping too...LOL
