Someone had given me some ballet shoes for Anisa and they are now her new favorite shoe. I went and found her tu-tu from her ballerina pj's and just had to take pictures of her...

 I need to put her in a ballet class ASAP...she loves it!

Noah slept the whole time so this was just "mommy and Anisa" time. We dont get that often

We went out early this morning because Noah had his 4 month check up,which went extremely well...he is average in his weight and no  longer underweight!!!! We ended up running other errands in town. Usually everytime we leave the house, we put Whiskey in the garage because we dont want him tearing the house apart while we are gone...he gets very upset with us if we are gone longer than a few hours and take it out on the house (seriously)...For a while we were leaving the sliding glass door open and he can go and do his business as he pleases, but we realized he was escaping from under the fence, so garage it is...when we got home, I had a very funny feeling. He didnt scratch and bark throught the garage door like he noramally does when he hears our car pull up...I checked the garage and he wasnt in there, checked under all the beds and he was no where...i freaked out and realized he was gone...after I unloaded the kids and gorceries, i loaded them back up and we went driving around. I knew he couldnt have gone far as he usually only wanders a few houses down then comes back. My Whiskey was no where to be found :( I came home and was about to begin making flyers when a neighbour walked by with her Whiskey look a like and I stopped her. She said she had seen him and gave hime to a little boy to hold on to. Right away i loaded up the kids in the jogger and went down the street. The little boy had given Whiskey to someone else and when I asked, no one seemed to know what I was talking about. I began to get very upset because I know someone there had him. Finally the third person that had him said yes they do have a dog but that its not mine and its their neighbors (Whiskey look a like). I assured that it was not hers because my dog is a boy and hers is a girl, she still did not believe me even when the other lady was standing there with me with her dog. They questioned me why Whiskey didnt have a tag, or collar and how do i know its Whiskey. I told them he does have a collar and i described it, as for the tags, he had just had a bath and we forgot to put the tags back on, nonetheless he is chipped and if they dont believe me, I can have a polive officer or whoever come and scan him and that will prove who he belongs to. After arguing for about 15 minutes, they finally gave him back to me WITHOUT the collar :( He was very happy to see us and as soon as he got home he plopped down on the floor and went to sleep. Im thankful to have him back. and no i did not give a reward (i honestly was about to, but after arguing with them, why should i have)

Today was friday and my usual day to pick up the kiddies  in SF. I askee my aunt and uncle if they could watch Noah and Anisa so they wouldnt have to sit in the car for 8 hours (round trip).

The night before, a white bunny had showed up in their driveway (which my uncle named Houdini). They put up flyers and no one had claimed it. In the mean time, Anisa was able to befriend it. Later when Javi, Isa and I came back, Anisa was chasing him around their back yard.

Labor Day Weekend

Didn't have to much plans, since money has been tight. Nonetheless, kids always find something to get into or Armando eggs them on...

I found Armando and Javi riding bikes int he garage, as if we dont have a whole culdsac to ourselves outside with ample space to ride...on top of that...they included Anisa in the bike ride...my husband is such a kids sometimes :)

 I have been craving fish cooked in garlic and butter...we still had some rock cods from when we went deep sea fishing in August, so i decided to cook it up. after it was done and cooling off, Anisa decided to help herself to some fish eyeballs...i used to eat them when i was litte and still do sometimes, they tste like popcorn (but i only eat the little ball) Anisa was actually eating the entire eyeball, jelly stuff and all... (ewww)

 Later on we went to help my cousin Monica move out of her place. Her roomates and ferrets and we had never seen them before, so we decided to take the kids. Anisa loved them and they love her! Javi was the only one who enjoyed looking at them, just didnt want to hold them.

 My cousin's roomate rides bikes so we snuck Noah onto the bike :)

 Kids must have had a busy day!

We had a piece of left over steak from I cant remember when, but i decided to shop it up and keep it as "bribe snacks" for Whiskey...we'll see if he continues to run away knowing he has good food here lol

 Sunday=Church Day and Family Day

I had found this "deal" on craigslist. It was a swing set for $25...and sicne we are in no position to be paying $400 for one (especially since we are renting right now), we decided to get it...while we were loading up the truck, my aunt decided to have a mini photo shoot...si me quiere m amorsito :)

 after we got done loading the playset, we decided to make dinner and i had never made lengua before, so this was very new to me to cook and it came out amazing!!!Kids loved it...i know the picture looks gross, but at least they werent afraid of it :)

 He is 100% perfect!

Meeting Ignacio's baby

Noah and Antoni (Ignacio's baby) are 9 days or so apart. Since everyone was at my house to see Javi and Isa off and re-build the play set, everyone else was able to meet Antoni. Regardless of the differences Igancio have had in the past with our prior marriage, I have to admit that  I have very happy that we are able to get along better that most exes can say as well as with each other;s significant others. I guess this is was neing a mature adult is about :)

 After they left, it was time to get down to business in clearing put the backyard to put the play set up. While my uncles and Armando were clearing out the weeds, Jesse was riding his bike and fell off. He was rushed to the ER because it turns out he broke his wrist. It was not a pretty sight. Poor thing. But at least he came back in good spirits and smiling. He is gonna have to have his cast on for 8 weeks.

When my uncle Sammy came back, the guys finished the back yard. And Anisa was able to use her slide. We only put one part of the slide up, because i want my uncle to build a sand box for the kids, and so we wont have to movit it all built, they just did the one part.

 Anisa now has her own mini park in the backyard!

My uncle came over today to try to build the sandbox for kids. Anisa wanted to be a mini helper. Not sure if she was in his way or mine, but she was out of my hair for a bit....Noah was stuck to me like glue and the only way i could get dinner started was if i put him in the backpack carrier thing. he tried to help me cut the veggies. When Armando came home. he saw me in the kitchen and snapped a picture...however he went outside to help my uncle, not me :(

 Noah was in my way a little to much so i finally out him in his chair for a few mintues to try and finish cooking...this only lasted literally a few minutes.

 Armando was being silly before we went to bed since i asked him to "put noah away"

 Went out and bought Noah a high chair today. we want to try to start feeding him his baby cereal.

 Since Armando has my car and we needed water. I decided to take the kids for a walk to the mini mart with a huge 5 gallon jug..i had never felt more ghetto. we had to jug in the stroller and i was carrying Noah and Anisa was walking...we made it back in one piece though

 Noah started discovering his feet today. I hope they entertain him for a while...it'll allow me to get some housework done!

 When Armando got home, we decided to try giving Noah his first cereal. He loved it...well at least the first 3 spoonfulls...guess we'll try again tomorrow...

Anisa got a balloon when we went to pay a bill at the mall and Noah kinda took over it...he loves playing with this feet :) i was able to get dinner started!

We've been debating for a while whether to get Noah the bumbo so we decided to put him in it first to see if he likes it...turns out for the second he was in there, he liked it. illhave to look for it on craigslist, for a little cheaper! I love craigslist! after waling around the store, my poor baby fell asleep sitting up in my arms :(

While we were waiting for my dad to pick us up for breakfast, I let Whiskey go outside. He started whining when we was out there and when i went to see why, i saw him peeking through the nieghbors fence looking for his puppy friend.

 My dad had us waiting for a long time and by then Anisa was tired and ready for a nap. Breakfast turned into lunch. We went to a nearby restaurant "La Fogata." i was surprised that i liked it. Anisa tried the Carne Asada fries (i thought they were smaller than what it was). They were DELICIOUS!!!

 My brother has been asking us to skype for the longest time and after nearly 2 months of him asking, we finally decided to get one and we were able to skype my brother. They woke up the little monkey boy just so he could say hi, which was actually a good thing, cause they found a candy in his mouth lol

Whiskey's costume came today and im so excited for Anisa's to get here too!!! I had to put it on Whiskey...he wasnt too happy about it, but dealt with it

 We had to go to town to run errands and since we were there, we decided to stop and visit my aunt at work. Anisa has been asking to stop and see her everytime we pass by, cause she sees her truck there. They got some new canoes so naturally I put Noah to test it out! Anisa enjoyed playing with the fish (fake of course)

I took both kids with me today to pick up Javi and Isa from school. It started raing when we got there so I bundled Noah up while we waited. When the kids came out, they were having "tasty fridays" which is one Friday a month they do a bake sale type thing. Even though it was raining, javi came out half naked....crazy kidd

there were quite a few things we wantd to do today. Avocado/Margarita Festival and movie in the mall night...we only got around doing the "movie in the mall" night. We were lounging all morning doing a bunch of nothing and horsing around. Later on in the evening, we went to the mall. They were giving a shoqing of The Sandlot and giving out hot dogs and popcorn, it was a free event for the kids. Even though we have all 3 Sandlots, it was nice to get out. They set up a grassy carpet in front of a projector screen and a bunch of chairs. They brought out hot dogs, pizza, cracker jacks, peanuts and fresh squeezed lemonade. It was a nice little event. In the middle of it Anisa had to go potty and on the way back she got side tracked with the toys and didnt want to leave. She could have stayed there longer if the movie hadnt ended and it was time to go...

 After the movie, we went to pick up a Bumbo for Noah and ordered Pizza from Fatte's to go. I think the only reason Noah liked being our centerpiece was because he was surrounded by the food!

We had to take the kids back today and we met Ignacio in Soledad. On the way back we stopped to pick up a Gazelle from some people. Hopefully i can stick with it and use the gazelle consistently.

I put Noah in Anisa's room today so i can get some chores done. however that didnt work well because i thought they were so cute together and decided to take pictures of them instead.

Its been scorching hot lately, for Guadalupe anyway and the kids have been extra fussy and since Aramndo has been using my car, ive been carless. I decided to take the kids on a walk to the mini mart but that failed as soon as we passed 2 houses, instead i decided to fill up the kiddie pool and let Anisa and the little neighbor girl play in the pool. They ended up playing outside the pool with weeds and flowers...oh well

It was time for a new toy :) We put Noah in this Precious Planet Jumperoo at Walmart and he loooooooved it...thenwe got in trouble for putting him in there and were told to take him out...hahahaha...we love tryign things on Noah!!! we didnt get in trouble for the hat though :)

We were invited to go to a drag race with my cousin, but it was too hot so we ended up going to the beach. We went with The Cabby's and had a wonderful time. Ate some yummy clam chowder and "fish n chips"...walked on the beach, saw a couple get married...it was a great day with the family!

I am beginning a morning walk routine. The kids love getting out and Whiskey and I need excercise...today we walked 1.25 miles...I figure if I make this a 3 day a week routine, we'll do great, we'll see how it goes!!! Wish us luck!!!

Finding treasures!

Ive been meaning to clean out the toy box and decided to do it today. I found a toy that my grandma had given to Javi on his first birthday and all 3 kids have been able to enjoy. it is now Noah's turn to enjoy this wonderful keepsake from the abuelita he never got to meet. it was quite a sight when i saw him playing with it, it definitely caught his eye
