We have been living in our new home for about a week and had no curtains...i needed curtains that matched our entertainment center and our couches yet also something that was not too expensive...and since i made a gazillion holes trying to put the first set up, the hubby insisted on putting these up....






























i must say that he did a better job than i did and did not put a gazillion holes in my wall...LOL

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!!! Javi and Armando went out early this morning to go buy a grill since we planned to have family over for a last minute BBQ (& pozole)...we had no type of grill whatsoever and of course every home needs a nice grill!!! We splurged and hunny is happy!!!






























While Pozole was cooking...Javi is helped make "salsa de molcajete" (my FAVE!!!)






























FINALLY the Tri-tip was put on the grill!!!!





























Noah is 2 months and 4 days...his 1st 4th of July!!!






































Its been years since ive done sparklers!!!

Javi turned into a little pyro this day

When it was dark enough, we put on a mini-firework show for the kiddies...ok Armando put the show on and i supervised...(as always)

Moni and Grace helped supervise!!!

Whiskey was outside for a while, then he started getting scared so i had to bring him in...he still wantched from the living room wondow...

noah's favorite spot is in side/under arms....just like mommy, i know sometimes it can be stinky but thats where we feel most secure (i guess?)

We literally drove to town and drove around for over an hour just to find something to eat...we still had no idea what we wanted so we ended up at Chili's...Anisa loved it

Since Trader Joes was right next door, Anisa and I walked there while Armando and Noah drove...

Anisa had a mini photo shoot outside of TJ's

We turned around for one second and found that Anisa had weasled her way to underneathe the basket...i think she thought she was surfing lol or boogie boarding

We almost headed home and totally forgot that it was FREE SLURPEE DAY, so we turned back around and stopped to get out free slurpee...

When we got home after our slurpees, my aunt and uncle invited us to go surf fishing. Since the beach is only 5 miles away from hout house, we decided to go...it looked beautiful

but when we got there, it was so cold and windy, Anisa, my aunt and I came back home and waited for the guys to bring home dinner...they didnt do so well :(

Noah went to bed way to early and woke up in the middle of the night way too happy

my dad sent me on a mission for my birthday to look for some boots...i have never looked at nor tried on boots in my life, i had trouble...but Javi had no problem trying stuff on at all...he now want a cowboy hat and boots for his birthday...aawwww i never thought id see him wear boots again..he had a pair that he wore everywhere whenhe was little and after he became "cool" he didnt want a new pair :(

mmmm cookies...I finally let the kids make cookies today on their own terms...usually i measure everything and help them pour because i am so scared of messes...today i didnt mind...kinda lol

finally settled in enough at our new home so now we can begin to take our walks...we walked to Jack o'connel park which is about 2 miles...kids did great...although i dont think we'll be doing it again...we almost got attacked by 2 dogs and now we are traumetized to go that route and its the only way there...kids had fun at the park though:)

Isa got her karate uniform today!!! so excited!!!

Since Isa's karate class is so quiet, we usually stay in the car or sometimes play outside...Its my time to torture Noah!!!! My little Buggy!

Picked up the Cabby kiddies today and we went to Nipomo park...javi had me running after his soccer ball cause he said i said i wanted to lose weight, which is true but it sounded weird coming from him lol

Noah's first time on the swings!!!!

We came home and made bran muffins since Armando has been on the "bran muffin" kick (i have to say that they arent as good as the ones from Portos in Burbank)

MY BIRTHDAY!!!

We took Anisa to day care and on the way back we decided to pick up kiddies, sicne the spent the night at the Cabby's...they each made me special birthday cards!!!

...along with picking up the kiddies, we picked up the Cabby kiddies...i think it was way too early for them to begin functioning....lol

After getting home from Javi's football practice and Isa's karate...aoorently Armando had given our house keys to my family and they snuck in and decorated and threw me a surprise party...i hate surprises lol BUT THANKS!!

Picnic in the Park

We had a picnic in the park after church to celebrate Grandma's birthday.

it was funny to see everyone (old and young) involved in our game of baseball

we were surprised that even my aunt maria played (she is the oldest of all 11 children from my grandparents). My cousin was supposed to run the bases for her, but i guess when she hit the ball, it got her adrenaline going and she ran the bases herself!!!

Anisa was too small to play and didnt want to play, so instead she entertained herself taking a bath in icecream...

Surprise visit from my dad on his birthday...he lives in Ventura (2hrs) away and we didnt think we'd see him for his birthday, but since Monday's are his day off, he decided to pay us a surprise visit...the kids and i scrambled to make him a card and a cake...then headed over to Nino Jr's to see him

My dad wanted bbq fish and carne and bacon and hotdogs (he can eat like the world is ending) and he really did eat it all...wheni was little, my cousin Erika and I used to eat the fish eyeballs...(they taste like popcorn) so i told Isa to try it and surprisingly she did and liked them lol

These kids never know what type of mischief to get into. Today wasnt too bad...they just took all the plastci bottle out of the recycle and used them to capture butterflies...

i love having a big backyard!!!

i guess Whiskey was exhausted from runnign around all day too, he fell asleep under the girls' blanket and on their tinkerbell pillow:)

kids kept asking me with they can use the pool, i kept telling them when it was hot...(its never hot in Guadalupe), so i figured id allow them to get wet today...they didnt l=stay in there too long...about 40 minutes the cloud rolled int too fast....

We have a pond in our backyard and the kids have finally finished digging out all of the dirt...they filled it up with the left over water fromt he pool!!! they want to put fish and turtles in it...aye, we'll see

Javi's last football game...kids are now going back to SF for the school year....i loved having them here....

Anisa had soccer today too, she still has 2 weeks left of soccer...i think she is done and over with it now...

Since it was super hot again...we decided to take the kids to Paul Nelson pool in Santa Maria...little did we know it'd be closing 30 minutes after we got there...oh well kids had fun and it was a cute little place...

we took them to Waller Park to feed the ducks since i'd been carrying around stale bread in my car for months...
