It was a very difficult day, Anisa for some reason was on this tantrum rampage and just wouldn't stop. Maybe it was a continuance of this past weekend that just had me on my last nerve...We had planned to get out of the house early to do some "day after halloween" shopping, but with her issues, we didn't get out til afternoon. Plus I was just too exhausted to get ready...
To try to calm her down, I found this interactive monkey show. She loved it and copied everything, from being a frog to a lion, to a tree to a flamingo. That really helped relax her :) and Noah actually like being in his bouncer for a little longer than a few minutes!!!!!
After doing some chores we finally headed out and actually had a good time in town. She was a very helpful little helper, despite her throwing anything and everything into the cart (taking things out of the cart is one of those consistent things I have to do at the register). We scored on some really cool deals for next halloween and even got Whiskey his halloween costume! I found a cute purple fairy dress for $3, and I figured anisa could use it as play dress-up. We attempted and conquered 3 stores and came home just in time to watch Game 5 of the world series!
SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS WON!!! 1st championship in 52 year since they moved here from NY in 1958...I AM STOKED!!!!
After the excitement calmed down (I have to admit, I was the only one screaming and jumping up and down in my house lol), Anisa fed Noah from his bouncer and he looked like a little goat drinking his bottle. I turned the channel to watch Dancing With The Stars. I had never watched it and it was the last 15 minutes before my novela started. As soon as Anisa saw them in their dresses she went to go put on her new fairy dress and started dancing with them. It was super cute :) When my novela started, she went to her room and put herself to sleep in her dress...aye Anisa...she stresses me out so much and I need a break from her sometimes, but she keeps me going and she makes me smile :)
FAITH, LOVE & PATIENCE is what made this a SALINAS family!

Marisco's Date Night
Hubby and I dont get to go out often, but so glad we were able to excape tonight even if it was on a double date with Nina B...finally got that margarita I had been craving. We went to one of my favorite Santa Maria's Restaurants, Marisco's Ensenada! It was super yum, not sure if not having any kids to tend to made it taste even better lol...After dinner we decided to go bowling....I hadnt been bowling since I was 8 months prego with Noah...I still suck...nothing has improved, not even playing the Wii...but hubby improved his game and if i remember corretly, he one...
It was a great "double date" with the Crabby Cabbies!
Attached to Whiskey
It was that time again to take Whiskey to get his haircut. Anisa was excited to take him and drop him off. We browesed the store to see what we'd buy Whiskey for when he got out and Anisa fell in love with the little mice. She asked me if she could have one and of course I said no. I cant stand those little critters. As soon as I told her we had to go run some errands before coming back to pick up Whiskey, she refused to leave the store. She couldnt believe that we were leaving Whiskey, even though this was a normal routine to drop him off and come back later to pick him up. I guess she hasnt really grasped that part yet. I managed somehow to get her into the car and she really started crying. It wasnt even a tantrum type cry. It was a "I cant believe you are leaving my brother here" cry. Noah just stared at her, and I think that made her more anxious. I kept reassuring her that we were coming back to pick him up after they cut his hair and we went to the store. After our errands, I took her to McDonald's for lunch and although its not my eatery of choice, its what make her happy...by the time she was finishing her meal we recieved the call that Whiskey was ready and she was super exicted to leave to pick him up. We had never left McDonald's so fast ever!!!! LOL
Whiskey was as good as new....I hope next time. it won't be as hard to leave him :(
Anisa in Mischief...aaaaalways
So today I woke up to a chocolatey covered munchkin....Anisa has been so independantly lately and sneaks out of bed and into the kitchen to make her own breakfast. Usually she does ok or she brings me an empty cup and the milk ot juice so I can pour it for her. But not today...today she decided to actually make herself breakfast. As soon as I saw her face, I freaked out and jumped out of bed and went straight to the kitchen. She smelled like garlic and chocolate and thought "Oh no, what did she do?"
Sure enough, on the cutting board were pieces of garlic, fish fry seasoning, nutella, butter, romaine and bread. She made herself a sandwich. and she actually ate it. I was so shocked and actually disgusted and so thankful she didnt get sick cause Lord knows I would have...
and that wasnt it either, when we got back from town and as I was unloading the car, I walked back into the house to Anisa with the tub of ice cream and a slice of bread making her own ice cream sandwich. I think when I asked if she wanted an ice-cream sandwich, she took it literally LOL
....aye this little girl...she is too funny

Anisa's Pumpkin
Being that the kids had carved their pumpkin a few days ago, Anisa finally wanted to carve her pumpkin. I told her that when papi got home, we would carve it. The second he walked through the door, she reminded me and I of course had to keep my end of the bargain...She chose to make the 'scary little ghost." When we were done, we put the candle light in it and set it outside!
Mismatched and ready to go...
I LOVE LOVE LOVE how Anisa dresses herself...(so long as she doesnt go out in public like that lol). I asked her to get her shoes on so we can take Whiskey for a walk and check the mail since Noah was napping and she certainly did...no one said to make sure her shoes matched...lol

Park Day!
Anisa woke me up too early today and instead of getting annoyed i saw that she had completely dressed herself and i couldnt help but smile at her. She got ready because she wanted to go to the park. I told her that we would go as soon as we got up and mommy and Noah got dressed too and we ate breakfast. We took a bag of bread that I had been saving to take to the ducks so Anisa could feed them. She loves feeding them and I love seeing her happy but I freak out everytime Im by myself thinking that she is going to fall in. She did great as always...its just a mommy's paranoia...When we were done feeding the ducks, we walked over to the playground and Anisa wanted to push Noah the whole way. I put him on the swings and he loved it and because he is able to stand better and hold himself up, I put him on the swing bridge.
By the time Armando got home it was dark so we lit up the pumpkins with the candle light Anisa and I bought today...i love how the pumpkins turned out!!! Geat Job Kiddies!!!!

GIANTS WON THE WORLD SERIES!
Thankfully the Yankees lost last night so the Giants would have an evening game and I didnt have to reschedule to boys' party :) After the party we were able to watch the end of the game and the last inning was dragging. Javi and I are the only ones who were excited and looking forward to it.
Javi was ready with his bottle of Apple Cider and when they won, we jumped for joy. Javi wanted a "champagne" shower just like the players on TV so i made hime change and each of the kids took turns covering him with cider. Armando wasnt too happy, even though he's not a ranger fan, it just meant that id be rubbing it in his face! YEEEEEEEAH GO GIANTS!!!!!
